This isn't a trebly twangy Tele, it's got some balls to go along with the great clean tones typical of a Tele. It's super comfortable, has a gorgeous neck, not like the ones often found on the post 1978 Tele's that were clubby and unshapely, this Tele plays sweetly. It's not a backbreaking typical 70's Fender - weighs in at a nice 8.07lbs. Comes with:[list] [*]Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups - ORIGINAL PICKUPS ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE [*]Kluson Machine Heads - ORIGINAL MACHINE HEADS ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE [*]Custom Shop 4 way selector switch - allows the neck and bridge pick up to be used in series, like a humbucker - very cool. [*]Hiscox STD-EF hard case, with key. [/list] The pots have been changed over the years and three of the rear string ferrules have been replaced (The metal bits on the back, where the strings go into the body). Truss rod, neck and everything are functioning as they should. This is a great workhorse of a guitar, 38 years worth of playing and natural relicing, plus it's cheaper than a new Fender USA reissue.
