This thread continues to amuse me! I told my friend in Godalming about it, he replied that he was tempted, but that he already has "a (not as good) one", and that driving into Kingston is too much like driving into London.

Ray, the two main 'legs' fold flat, the shelves detach and can be put in a bag.
So it definitely could be carried on a bus, although you might get a few funny looks.
