NBD ACG 0157Ü Über ART Recurve 4

Just took delivery this afternoon, not yet plugged in but wanted to share a few pics! Many of you will have seen this model at various shows, it is (I think the first?) Acrylic Resin Treated (ART) model from ACG. This imparts a unique colour pattern based on the wood cell structure.

Were it a 5 string I would have bought it in May!

Tis good to see it sold though...although was looking forward to having a go a the bass bash and can't now

It sounds better than it looks (and that's quite a statement) for those who are curious about the sound!

I should add i have nothing against 5 or 6 strings i just think they don't look as nice as a 4 string.

There are definitely certain shapes that just suit a 4 string and not a 5/6. Warwick Thumb looks weird as a 4 string but great as a 5 string IMO
