itsmedunc
Never seen one of these before. The thought of the weight scares me! I see it may belong to a certain Bc'er too... gelfin
If you have played their single neck 4040 (Hayman branded) you would know how heavy this would be.
ash
It's mine and it's not as heavy as the Gordy twin neck I sold on here. Weighs just over 12lbs and balances ok when standing. It's being sold as I have 5 Shergolds and I love them all but rarely play any other than my Modulator - although another Marathon 6 would be nice. I'm after what I paid for it so if anyone is interested here pm me....

The heaviest bass I ever owned though was a USA Mike Dirnt P, it weighed about 16lb on my scales. Needless to say I didn't have it long... Paul S
I have Shergold Marathon 4 stringer and it is just shy of 7.5lbs. Incredibly light. Have to say this looks amazing.
ash
Yes the body is quite ergonomic compared to many doubles and it's made from obeche which isn't a dense wood. The heaviest bits are the plethora of tuners!
