Chopthebass Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 (edited) Jazz body with lovely thick maple burl bookmatched top over brazilian mahogany rear. Routed to your neck/pickup/cavity requirements. £160 inc delivery. Edited August 15, 2008 by Chopthebass
slaphappygarry Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 (edited) Hey man, what do you mean by 'routed to your requirements'? Could you rout it to fit a geddy lee jazz bass neck, john east control plate and pair of stadard jazz pups? Also, could it be pre drilled for a badass bridge? Sting2007 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 He means that he will route the cavitys out for whatever you need. I think lol

I think lol[/quote] Exactly that. The price includes routing a neck pocket to suit your neck, pickup routes and control cavity. I can pre-drill for the bridge. I'd need all the parts to ensure accuracy. Cheers Ian
phil_the_bassist Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Thats STUNNING! How often do you get figured wood like that (hmmm, sounds dirtier than I'd imagined!)? I'm gonna be looking to build a jazzer 5string with a striking grain, hopefully I'll be another satisfied customer!

Usually they are about 6 to 8mm. I was tempted to hang on to this one, but I keep finding other nice pieces of wood!
