paulie Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) Up for sale is my 75 Re-Issue This is the US version. The bass is in excellent condition. All original except the Fender pickups have been replaced with Lindy Fralins which are one of the best Jazz pickups out there (although not cheap!!!) I have the standard US pickups available also if reqd! As mentioned condition is excellent, still has stickers on it although its a good few years old at this stage. No wear, dents or ding anywhere. Hardware is as shiny as the day it was bought. Bass weighs less than 9lbs so its light and great to play. The lightweight swamp ash body has a lovely grain to it. It comes with the pickup covers and a non original case Thanks [attachment=185626:IMG_1383.jpg] [attachment=185627:IMG_1385.jpg] [attachment=185628:IMG_1388.jpg] [attachment=185629:IMG_1389.jpg] [attachment=185630:IMG_1386.jpg] Edited March 12, 2015 by paulie
paulie Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 This bass is set up with new, unused strings, low action Sounds amazing
paulie Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 Ideally looking for a straight sale on this.. What were you thinking of?
paulie Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Just to point out that they no longer make the 75 re-issue (US version) It has been replaced with the 74 re-issue and lists at £2290. Cheapest online price seem to be £1742 at Guitar Guitar This one is mint, with Lindy Fralins, weighs less than 9lbs and only costs £950!!!!!
ritch Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Are you interested in selling the Lindy Fralins separately? Cheers Rich
paulie Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Sorry no, But if you give me £950 for them Ill throw in free bass
ritch Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Hah! I didn't think I'd ever say it, but I've got enough Jazz basses already! What about the 75 pickups, or do you want to keep those with the bass? Rich
paulie Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 Hi Rich Their residing in another bass. But no comparison to the Fralins Another option for you would be the Fender Custom Shop pickups. At a good price on THomann an they sound fab!
ritch Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 No probs. I'll wait til I find some Lindy Fralins I think - that's ultimately what I'm looking for. Cheers
paulie Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 I took this along with two other basses as part trade against my Fodera. Im selling them off quick before I get too attached. I had a choice of three from a huge collection. I took my 3 favourites. Its a cracking bass the 75. Nice and light too
machinehead Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 This is a definate bargain, especially with the Fralin pickups. I have an AV 75 RI with the rosewood fretboard and Seymour Duncan pickups. It's still my favourite jazz bass after about 6/7 years of ownership and a few other jazz basses bought and sold. This one will not disappoint. Frank.
paulie Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Cheers Frank It's a sweet base, lovely neck
