Mylkinut Posted March 7, 2015 Share Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) It's come to my attention that I've got too many basses, specifically P-shaped ones. I bought this a while ago to use as a gigging backup but I ended up never needing it. It already had the Quarter Pounder installed when I bought it (professionally done according to the previous owner), and unfortunately I don't have the original one. Either way, the QP's a big upgrade over the MIM pickup! The serial number dates it as a 2005-2006, but since this particular colour was released in the latter year I'm calling it a 2006. The colour itself is excellent - deep metallic blue which looks brilliant in direct light. I imagine it'd look the dog's unmentionables with a black scratchplate on it. There's hardly any wear on it to speak of - only marks I can find are some VERY light surface scratches on the back (nothing my camera could pick up). Feels great to play and sounds monstrous. I've just strung it with some new Fender 7250Ms and oiled the fretboard - it's ready for its new home! I'm based in between Southampton and Portsmouth, but I'm willing to travel within reason. I don't have anything to ship this in, so really not sure about postage - if you're really interested let's see if we can work something out. And now the juicy stuff...
