Marcus Miller Jazz Bass 4 - sunburst [SOLD]

This is one hell of a bass-
This is a sunburst one and has had the bridge replaced with a 70's reissue bridge- sounds and feels excellent.

REDUCED TO £450

passive mode is excellent as is active mode- volume between the two is very close so it's easy to flick the switch over if you want to kick in a bit of a bass boost etc- when used carefully the preamp is brilliant.

The bass is light and comfy and has a great neck, better than the Geddy in my opinion.

Cheers!
Hi- only just bought this but it's managed to fire up the jazz bass gas in me- I forgot how much I love jazz basses and now I'm searching for the perfect one.

this is one hell of a bass- will get more details and pics up tonight but as soon as I get another jazz, this will be available for sale. This is a sunburst one and has had the bridge replaced with a 70's reissue bridge- sounds and feels excellent.

Am after what I paid for it- £475 firm, no offers unless you fancy taking it in part exchange towards;

sadowsky jazz 4
70's fender jazz
70's reissue fender jazz
possibly a lakland jobo 4

or other high end J copy
Cheers!

Hi Paul, I'm good mate- you?

It's a great bass but I find I use it in passive mode all the time anyways- I've just this sec bought a secondhand geddy lee jazz from Gak, more what I was after really. They're both very similar but I wanted a passive tone control and didn't want to butcher the marcus ;D

what are you playing nowadays? still got the sterling?

It looks good.
What about my Status Energy plus cash?

Geejay
Cheers for the offer- It's on hold at the moment awaiting confirmation from a buyer. I've ordered a bass though so I need the cash now.

Thanks!

I've just weighed this bass after being asked by someone-

It's just below 8lbs and therefore a very light example- I've read that most of these tend to be pretty heavy, around 10-12lbs.

God I hate imperial - I long for the day we make a proper switch over

It also has a set of the following pickups in- a BIG improvement over the originals- highly noticable on the bridge pu which is now much fuller. The whole sound is a slightly beefier version of the originals.
