Pawn shop oddity

I only have 1 pic at the mo but will get more.

From this pic can you tell if it's a real Vox.

As I say it's a crap pic the guy was watching me, there are loads of wierd basses in there gonna pop back in the week and take some real pics.

Never seen a Vox logo in that script, but who knows - looks old, and the headstock looks right from what's visible

That chrome trc is very like the ones we find on old JapCrap Fender copies. Apart from that, there's a zero-fret, & the headstock looks like it [i]might[/i] be made of that odd strip-ply stuff used on early orientals.

I'll reserve judgement until Wayne gets better pics - but there were a few odd Vox-branded things around, so anything's possible...

I have a pre- CBS fender pre. 1964, lovely tone,sunburst finish ( a bit scuffed over the years ) My second bass is a Hayman 4040 from early "70"s good action but very heavy.
