AntLockyer
I can't believe I've not heard this excellent German band before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHJed3m0PHc&feature=share Just spent 5 minutes trying to work out the bassline and struggled a bit. When it goes into that first fast bit what's he playing? C, Octave C then what? anyway check out the rest of the stuff they did, really great stuff. ped
Cool tune thanks I'll listen to their other stuff. The bass rig looks a bit unstable and nearly falls over a couple of times. Stage must be made of beer crates.
KevB
I'm sure I have the odd album by them in my iTunes collection but not played it for a while. Bassist using a pick too, that's pretty nifty playing. I have all sorts of obscure prog/krautrock/psych stuff from late 60's to late 70's and it's surprising just how good some of the musicians were (to my ears) but remain relatively unknown. Some of them came from jazz backgrounds so really knew their stuff before embarking on more proggy territory.
Hobbayne
The fast bit sounds a bit like the bassline from The Beatles And Your Bird Can Sing. I guess its probably just C to G via E F AND F sharp
