Jrdpearson
Price £650 Greetings, wonderous people of the Basschat forums. Whilst I am a complete noob and have not sold anything on here before, you've got to start somewhere! What I am looking to sell is my much loved Mayones Jabba 4 in white with matching headstock, I believe it is an anniversary edition or something along those lines however I cannot remember, anyone knowing anything about this bass would be much appreciated! I purchased this bass from Bass Direct back in November 2013 as a standard Jabba with a different bridge and brass nut. It had a vast majority of the nicks and dings when I bought it from them and the small chip on the body where you adjust the truss rod, however these do not affect playability and some might say they add character! It is a lovely instrument with a straight neck and low action, 24 frets, 2 band standard mayones active EQ (2x volume 1x bass 1x treble) with a couple of seymour duncan bass lines. Bolt on neck with 6 screws and schaller tuners... not too sure what the bridge is though if I'm completely honest. Only reason I am parting with this bass is because I recently purchased a 5 string Fender Deluxe Jazz bass off a guy on here and I could use the cash to put toward something else. That being said, I am willing to entertain trade offers (something along the lines of a G&L SB1, Fender USA P, I don't know, PM me an offer!) and cash offers. I am certain this bass cost around 1200 new and it's got some upgrades, so I believe this is reasonable. I am based in London, pick up only and feel free to come around and try it! It will come with the Mayones hard cass I recieved when I bought it, it is not pictured as it is currently in Brighton housing another bass however I shall be picking it up in a couple of weeks so shall take a picture then. I apologise for the dreadful pictures, my phone is ancient. Jrdpearson
Hi mate, it's a 34 inch scale (i'm fairly certain!) and I'm not too sure on the preamp, all I know is the controls for it are 2x volume and a treble and bass knob... I seem to know nothing about my own bass?!
mr.noisy
Jack is a really good chap and deal with him with confidence, we are class mates at uni and I was listening to this bass every monday through last semester and it sounds great!
