Just pulled the trigger on one of these badboys (my first foray into the crazy world of 6 strings)

Got a pretty amazing deal of £90 so I couldn't resist! Anyone had any experience with these? I know the general feeling on here is that the HB kit is fantastic value for money.

A number of people have the previous HB 6 string model. I have one badged as a Shine, not a HB. I've not noticed anyone who has the new 'progressive' model that you have purchased. It will be interesting to hear what you think of yours.

I know a few folks with the 5 string version and a couple with fretless 5's, can't remember hearing any
complaints.

£90 for an active 6 string has got to be a record. I'll be watching for your NBD ;)

Tell me about it! I couldn't buy it fast enough - always wanted to try a 6 string so at this price I don't feel like I will lose out much even if I don't take to it.

IMHO quite a nice looker as well

Also considering getting back into playing bass after a few years away, and just want something cheap to see how my wrists take it. What are your feelings on this? It's about £110 now but seems like it should still be worth a punt.

There's a fella Gullum on the Harley Benton forum who posted this.

That's him using his B-650 and an L-450 guitar on some kind of wikiloops type track, sounds a bit quiet but I think the idea is to showcase
the singer.Still Gulum is happy to use his B-650 and that says a lot for a £110 instrument :)
