DarkHeart
Ever since i bought the `Sounds book of the electric guitar` in the early `80`s with the BC Rich Bitch on the cover ive always wanted a BC Rich, then i saw the Rick Derringer album cover for `Guitars and Women` with the flamed maple top Mockingbird and it was like a wow moment that has stayed with me over the years, cut to 3 weeks ago and me being made redundant from my job and very very fortunately walking straight into another job complete with redundo payout! win win!! Fridays browsing through the B/C classifieds and ebay brought nothing that caught my eye but woah whats this on Gumtree, a mint Mockingbird Heritage Classic two emails later and ive arranged a viewing this morning after work. What a beauty it is, i know these arent to everyones tastes but to me theyre a thing of beauty, the previous owner is a member on here but i cant for the life of me remember his user name other than the `200 at the end of it, it has been really well looked after (sorry Chris ive stuck flats on it already ) and it was a pleasure chatting about basses with him. Anyway enough waffle it doesnt exist without pics does it! Truckstop
Ah yeah, traditional headstock all the way! Hope you enjoy it!
discreet
Absolutely love everything about it apart from the shape and finish. Mind you, I bet those twin P-style pickups make it roar like a beast. On steroids. Congrats on the redundo-payout, too.

White Cloud
These aren't to everyone's tastes...but they are to mine. I spent the 80's lusting after a hand built one of these bad boys.

Phil Adams
Gorgeous. Not everybody cup of tea I'm sure, but it does make some other shapes look a little dull IMO.
Black Coffee
I love these. I would get strange looks if I bought one though as I'm probably too old to own a bass like that.
