spacey
Video surfing, found this incredible Precision tone on this. Simplicity of the maple neck precision. Andy Carr present player with Scottish Rockers "Gun" Sounds like some DI over drive pedal really dragging that growl and bottom end out. Lozz196
Great tone - not too far away from what I try to get myself, though I need a bit more twang.
Modman
It's got a similar tone to the bass sound on Incognito's "Jazz Funk" album albeit different playing styles.
uk_lefty
Great tone, like the song too.
chris_b
That's a fully rehearsed and post processed recording.
Lozz196
Don`t half sound good though.
badboy1984
Sounded good with the band, but is not the type of tone I would use lol.
gillento
VERY NICE, indeed! A P with either a VTBAss as main growl and a bit of overdrive provided by a Tech21 Leeds gets you VERY close!
Funky Dunky
That is cracking tone, would love to be able to dial in a sound like that. His playing is ultra tight as well. I didn't realise Mark Rankin had gone and the old bassist was now the lead singist!
Fisheth
That's a cracking tone, but It's not the sort of sound I go for.
miles'tone
Just goes to show that you don't have to hammer the hell out of your strings to get a knarley tone. He's playing with such a light touch but is getting so much more from his bass by not crapping the notes out. Really good lesson right there. This kind of music isn't usually my cup of tea but to be fair, they are pretty awesome here.
