jacare
As you may know these basses are amazing value- great, versatile tone, thru-neck and very well made. I bought it as an experiment to decide whether I really wanted to go back to 4 strings (I also have the 5 string version of it- NOT for sale) and decided I don't. But it's a great bass. It's crazy that they don't make them any more. Actually it's not that crazy from Peavey's point of view. The fact is that if they did still make them, there would be no point buying the more expensive USA-made ones. As you can see it has a knob missing (I shall research getting another one), but apart from that it's almost mint- no actual dings as such, and no buckle rash*. It's strung with Status Hotwires 35-95. I'm in north London, and collection is the best option, though I could post. *I've uploaded better photos as the first lot were rubbish, and this has made me realise that A) A bit of veneer on the headstock is loose (careful use of glue required) The bass is rather dusty. So it's time it was played! Edited April 5, 2015 by jacare

jacare
Thanks. IMHO any BXP is a bargain unless there's something seriously wrong with it. Now I've settled on the 5 string I have no absolutely intention of letting it go!
