Jack Posted March 23, 2015 Share Posted March 23, 2015 Although it wouldn't be appropriate/necessary with full range cabs like these, we've been successfully using the aux-fed subs method for some time now. The main advantage of aux fed is that it keeps 99.99% of LF content out of the tops. You don't need that by all accounts with these barefaced cabs, but all those of you wondering why or how you'd only use sub, the answer is you'd use an aux output. With regards to sub placemnt, we always have one top on a stand and then the other one stacked on top of both subs. Less power alley that way, and it keeps cabling neater. Granted, the LF output is unnoticeably higher on the sub side, but we just make sure to put them furthest from the bar! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
