simonlittle Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Hi folks I really should have posted about this record when it came out just over two years ago but there you go... I recorded an album of trio improvisations with pianist Jez Carr (who you might know from his duo record with Steve Lawson) and saxophonist Mike Haughton (from Iona). We recorded the whole album in one day and at the time it got a lovely response. I used my trusty Warwick Triumph upright for the whole album which was a joy. Of all the basses I've owned over the years, that is my favourite and nothing really sounds like it. You can check out the record on Bandcamp at http://music.simonlittlebass.com We called it Foreground Music, Vol. I. We haven't made volume II yet, but I'm sure one day we will! Hope you like it Edited March 19, 2015 by simonlittle Quote
