Funky Dunky
Love this guy, great teacher, great enthusiasm and has lessons on just about everything a bassist could need help with. I understand he has tutored some high-profile bassists but doesn't toot his horn and won't say whom. I wondered if any basschatters know? I'm curious - in fact I'm intrigued!* *I'm nosey
yorks5stringer
He did a slot with Geoff at a Yorkshire Bass Bash I organised few years ago. I wouldn't say I'm high profile mind....

TheGreek
Yes, he is a great guy...he actually came up to me at the LBGS 2014 and commented on my "look" - chatted with him for a while and he was happy to have his photo taken with me. I bumped into him again this year and he remembered who I was.. I love his site: http://www.scottsbasslessons.com/start and there are lots of usable lessons for FREE!!! Top fella - I won't have a word said against him.. Edited March 21, 2015 by TheGreek

louisthebass
Don't know if Scott has taught any high profile bassists, but his lessons on YT are top notch, and he's a really good bloke. Met him at the LBGS a couple of years ago, and he was very approachable.
Funky Dunky
I'm sure I saw a video where he says he has taught some well-known bassists, but doesn't say who. He's a monster player in his own right. Would love to have a pint with the fella.
spyder
I've used his YouTube channel and really enjoyed his teaching style. Would love to have a one to one lesson with him.

He does some great courses on chords and harmonic layering.

Will look into signing up for it eventually, when I've got the funds available.
NickD
It's worth the asking price for the live guest seminars alone. The last couple of Anthony Wellington ones were ace, and Steve Lawson was really inspiring too.
Funky Dunky
Yeah I'm toying with the idea of getting a full membership, I wish I could've seen the Ed Friedland seminars, I really dig Ed as a player and a teacher.
planer
I can recommend the SBL full membership too, there's acres of great stuff there.

Heket
+1 on the Academy (the paid stuff). There's so much that goes on in there, it's well worth the money. I wrote a post about it in another thread somewhere, but here's a video Scott did explaining what goes on in the Academy: http://youtu.be/urup7rNZusM

nick@ibassmag
Scott's a fantastic guy - he's been contributing to iBass Magazine from day one. Here's part one of a feature we shot with him and Lee Pomeroy… who's another superb bass player. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4cQ6_hg_YA
