I knew this would be Gear4Music even before I opened the thread. We had quite a few discussions about their smashed up guitars about a year or two ago. For £37 or so, you can buy a Thomann Deko which is actually in one piece.

Here's a picture of a neck through bass from way back then.

They've been hawking this guitar for ages:

I can't for the life of me think why nobody has snapped this up for £250.

Utterly farcical that they are asking £250 for that with a snapped neck.

A good Luthier could fix that with Titebond, which sets harder than the wood itself. However given they would charge £50-100 to do it, there seems no apparent saving on taking a punt on it at £250

This, on the other hand, could be a good deal for the right buyer:

That's definitely more than £37.99 worth of repairs right there! They must be having a laugh! One for the log fire...

I'm slightly concerned by "There are scuffs and signs of use around the finish." but it looks OK otherwise.

If that's their idea of scuffs and signs of use I wonder what they consider a write-off?! Signs of use by who? Pete Townsend?!

How do Gear4music manage to smash so much gear (for music)? Surely after the first batch they would get onto their Chinese OEM supplier and tell them to get the thumb out? Or do their employees suffer from roid rage in the warehouse?

Zero hours contracts, I expect.
