TheGreek
I loved my old TE - wish the weight wasn't such an issue. Expect back issues if you choose to buy this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trace-elliot-bfc-4x10-1x15-bass-cabinet-cab-/141604522057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20f8498849
lowregisterhead
Dear God. If I could afford road crew, I'd buy that!
ubit
I've got a Genz Benz 6x10 that weighs 9 stones! Great sound but not very practical. Every time I wheeled it into a pub, you could see people's faces drop!
Lozz196
Weight of a small planet methinks.
jakhotta
Yeah those BFC cabs look like monsters! Bet hooked up they sound great though. A few years ago in my naivety and on impulse, I bought an pretty beat up Ampeg 810 cab on the cheap via eBay- thats without checking the weight of the things first. Big mistake. Thought I was the dogs b's on my way to get it and I didn't understand why the guy selling it was so happy to see me.... when the suspension of my old volvo dropped by 3inches upon its first loading in, I understood then. I used it about 3 times out of the house after that. (second floor flat keep in mind!) Lesson learnt! It does sound great though and I still can't bring myself to part with it Recently got into old Trace gear, even though its all fairly heavy- its still more practical than that old 810. To me, Trace amp and cabs feel so well built and that they could take a beating no matter what.
alittlebitrobot
I had a BLX80, 1x10. It was made with plywood and LOTS of it. It weighed 25 feckin' kilos. 25! for a ten inch combo. The idea of moving this thing reminds of those documentaries where they attempt to re-enact the building of Stonehenge.

Urban Lions
Hey guys. I bought that trace bfc. It's on castors and really easy to move around. Just need an amp to power it now.
