kulabula Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Chic , last night in Leeds. Possibly the best gig I've seen in the last twenty years. Top musicians. I'm still dancing And the sound was fantastic. The rhythm section are flawless. The end Quote
Duarte Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Yes! Almost went. Was in leeds and everything! Quote
kulabula Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 I think it must have been sold out. The place was rammed. Quote
spectoremg Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Did they do all the stuff they were involved with, Let's Dance etc like at Glasto 2 years ago? Quote
casapete Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Yeah, all the main stuff Nile has been involved with throughout his career, including songs by Bowie, Madonna, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Sheila B Devotion and even Duran Duran! Superb gig in Leeds, absolutely rammed although touts selling tickets outside for less than face value? Queued from 6.30, doors at 7, band didn't come on till 9! No support either, so a long wait. Drinks at daft prices, so audience getting twitchy. Need n't have worried though, the band were amazing, and Jerry Barnes on bass was phenomenal. (Jazz style custom bass in natural finish, with two Aguilar rigs.) Two hour set, great PA sound (upstairs anyway),best gig I've seen for ages. Quote
