badboy1984
Was wondering how much is the Yamaha BB-G5A worth? I know nothing about yamaha bass. Been offer a trade for my Fender Classic 60 jazz bass. Edited March 25, 2015 by badboy1984
geoffbyrne
I paid £80 for mine in mediocre nick. Keep your Fender. Look up Ebay for completed sales for the BB G5A. G.
40hz
IIRC those Yamaha's retailed at £299 about 10 years ago. So 2nd hand value, even for a minter wouldn't be much more than £150. I'd keep the Fender (it's worth considerably more. You'd be getting done somewhat in a trade)
badboy1984
I only know about the TRB line which cost abit, i guess I will keep the Fender. Another guy offer to trade his Tune 6 string lined fretless bass for my Fender. I assume is a straight swap, I know Tune bass is not cheap and the early one is made in japan i think. Thing with Tune basses is that their are two companies called Tune making bass guitars... One is a quality Japanese manufacturer and the other is Korean based and makes slightly lower prices instruments. The one I had was Korean. Very different beasts a Tune fretless sixer and a Fender, that's quite a trade... Edited March 25, 2015 by CamdenRob
badboy1984
I will see how it goes. I guess the dude don't get on with fretless and 6 string and would prefer a fender jazz.

badboy1984
I've already got a westone fretless 4 string, altho I would prefer a 6 string tune fretted but the fretless is tempting. Not sure how much I will be using ......
badboy1984
I think is one of these but line fretless. http://www.tuneguitars.com/product/twb6.php Not sure is it fretless original or defret. If is defret I can always put the frets back on i guess?

You could always have it re-fretted but it will cost obviously... also this will be much harder to sell than a fender should you change your mind. I'd have to swap out that gold hardware though!
