MacDaddy Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Seems simple enough with a pick, but I'm a finger player so currently finding it a bit challenging. Quote
chrismuzz Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Yes it is! When my old band used to cover it I'd just cut out the bits in the verse riff where you play more than one string at a time. Easy peasy! Guy on YouTube called Tony Dickinson can play the whole thing perfectly though, and I bloody hate him for it Quote
Lenny B Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I have to say, I've been playing for 25 years and last year me and some mates from school put together a Megadeth covers band (Megadeaf!)- Holy Wars is the hardest thing I've ever played, the end section is relentless. Good luck! Quote
MacDaddy Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 seriously considering cheating and using a pic. here's Dave Jr showing how it's done nothing too technically challenging it's just relentless! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oah2HSQlps Quote
