Drax
Don't get too excited. Covert bass to smuggle onto family holidays. 28.75inch scale, and exactly 39inches / 1 metre in length. Spurred by Mattmit's recent surf green purchase, and the insanely cheap Jack & Danny prices - for me this was a credible alternative to the rubber string brigade. Expectations low for a £72 bass but it's great. Neck is a nice wood and well machined, no snagging frets. Iron work cheap but not that nasty. Pots feel solid and whilst it's not the meatiest tone, decent strings and some FX would make it gig worthy (although you would look like a giant). Comments so far have ranged from 'I feel sorry for it' to 'is that a WARWICK Davis?' First bass I've owned not natural wood or 3TSB. I might be converting. So cheap you don't mind a chocolate covered 4yr old having a go. Zoe's Teentown on youtube shortly Edited March 26, 2015 by Drax
uncle psychosis
Looks great. I'm beginning to gas for jazz basses again. Oh dear.
Weststarx
I constantly look at these just to get the surf green body if anything and upgrade everything on it and maybe a Status neck. Is it worth it?
CamdenRob
The full size versions of these really do look like good value... The only reson I haven't bought one is I can't decide between the surf green and the sky blue.

Mattmit
Awesome little bass! Was playing mine at my desk today. Slow day at work. PS I sanded my tortoiseshell plate back to white. Looks ace! Edited March 27, 2015 by Mattmit
alyctes
At least one of the full-size ones has a neck with frets which need filing. It might be tricky, because of the binding; I'm wondering about using a matchstick to put epoxy on instead.
