growse Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I've got an Ibanez SR500 and am looking to get a detuner for some stuff I'm playing that needs a low D. I've looked around and there seem to be a few aftermarket ones, but I've no idea about compatability. Can I just buy any one and fit it, or will I need a specific model for my bass? Thanks Quote
skelf Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Do you have a pic of the tuners. Hipshot make a wide range of tuners into extenders if you get me a pic I will have a lok at them. Alan Quote

skelf Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 The C will be for chrome. It is the same thing as far as I can see. I can do them a bit cheaper than that but the wait my be a bit longer as ordering a single item from them does not make a lot of sense with regard to carriage. Alan Quote
growse Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 I'm happy to wait to get a better deal When you planning to make an order? Quote
