For sale - an AMG-3 Tricone Resonator guitar, with a guitar neck (not a square Dobro-type). It's set up with a fairly low action and can be played finger-style with a bottleneck. A very substantial Kinsman hard case is included.

This instrument has been drastically improved by Basschat's resident genius guitar builder kevin_lindsay, who buffed the finish to a semi-gloss sheen and added some Delta resonator cones which have transformed the sound. He also added the National decal to the headstock. Taking pictures of this instrument now that it's shiny are quite a challenge The instrument is in excellent condition, with only one tiny mark in the finish on the head which I've tried to show in one of the photographs.

Price is £350 plus shipping. The guitar can also be collected from Ipswich, or we can meet up in central London. I'm not really looking for trades but would consider part-ex against a quality old-time banjo.

Kevin originally sold the guitar to raise funds for a donation in memory of Caden Beggan. It's become something of a tradition for donations to be made when this instrument changes hands, something which I will be glad to maintain and I hope that if someone buys it they will consider doing so too.
