Paul S Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015
Thirdly, I require a shrubbery.
But what type of shrubbery? What aspect is the shrubbery facing? How high does the tallest shrub need to be - any views to keep/eye-sores to mask? Evergreen? Colour themed, for example golden foliage with purple contrast? Any particular season of interest, for example autumn colours? Is there a season/period when you are never at home, and so miss a specific flowering period? Complete shrub ground cover or added interest of herbaceous plants and/or bulbs? I don't think you have thought this through, frankly. Quote

lojo Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) Ive got some headlines based on the reality of the BassChat world ... People have been seriously injured as a crowd rushed for the exit just before the start of Paul Carrack gig, a witness known as FleaBop84 to his online friends said "someone in a basschat Tshirt stood up, pointed and shouted "Music Stand"" then it turned into chaos. Bassplayers worldwide are in mass mourning, in tweets and online forums they are expressing mass grief and disappointment, the scale of it is similar to that of the recent departure of Zayn Malik from 1D, but this time it was due to bass god Pino Palladino openly admitting he used a form of tablature to learn his first few songs as a teenager. Marvin Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 It's going to be a mammoth task to wade through all the puns to make a column, regardless of anything else Quote

lojo Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Could this actually work against the magazine? I know I'm less likely to buy that sort of thing with my involvement here , so readers could discover this site then not rely on the magazine as much for thier bass hit. Quote
Idea alert! We could start an online auction site to sell laurels and eucalyptus trees, based from a nursery site in Yorkshire. And call it eBayGum Sorry, small botanical type joke. Well, very nearly. Quote
yorks5stringer Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Just seen BJ's first column in BGM. Well done! Not going to say any more, you'll just have to go out and buy it/read it in W H Smiths.... Edited May 1, 2015 by yorks5stringer Quote
