lou24d53
Going to see Paul Simon and Sting at The Hydro in Glasgow next Friday night and I genuinely can't wait. Buzzing to see Bakithi Kumalo live in action, think it's going to be tremendous. Anyone else catching the tour when it hits here?
wateroftyne
No, but I'd love to see it. My pal is playing violin and he's bloody amazing. Buzzy
I'm catching the tour at the O2, Paul Simon always has a brilliant band. This gig is part of a run of gigs I'm going to that feature great bassist. I saw Pino last week with The Who, I've got Bakithi and Sting this month and John McVie with Fleetwood Mac in May. lou24d53
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/paul-simon-and-sting/2015/the-sse-hydro-glasgow-scotland-2bc8b07a.html Awesome night. Bass wasn't as obvious as I'd like apart from the Graceland numbers, but still chuffed to even be in the same room, (if not the same postcode!) as Mr Kumalo. [/quote] Same here....also seen art garfunkel advertised recently "an intimate evening " £75 a ticket !!! How they can justify that is ridiculous . acidbass
Went to see them in Belfast - amazing playing from Sting and Bakithi and Vinnie Colaiuta on the drums was superb! Michael - your mate on fiddle was brilliant, did two amazing solos and Sting introduced him to the crowd on both occasions.
