spinynorman Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Saw them in Wolverhampton Friday night. I liked the album (Feet Fall Heavy), but even so it doesn't do their live performance justice. It was a small venue, probably 60 people there, and they were ridiculously good. I can't understand why The Black Keys and Royal Blood are massive and KIK aren't. As a bonus, nice to see a Gibson EB2 on stage, doing what it does best (big, distorted, loud bass). Anyone else a fan? Quote
spinynorman Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Hmmm, apparently not. I'm not connected to them in any way. In case anyone still associates them with the folk revival, they don't do that any more. Perhaps changing direction makes it harder. The best tracks are on "Feet Fall Heavy". But even that doesn't really do their live act justice. It's tough to find any thing good live on Youtube, which might be another problem. If anyone wants an introduction, try this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oinqrZYQL0w&index=4&list=PL4h2XGENb6qhauv_uaKufpcvi0nCvig_X Quote
dadofsix Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Not bad! A lot of energy and the song wasn't half bad. Quote
