anaxcrosswords
Items for sale in this part of the forum are often headlined with just the make/model, and for non-techies like me it’s very difficult to know exactly what’s being sold. I was wondering – very, very pretty please – if it might be possible to split the category into amps, cabs, combos and rigs?
Coilte
There is always "Google". That's what I use if I'm not familiar with a certain brand or model. You can also get reviews. Edited March 31, 2015 by Coilte

[/quote] Not one for marketing then Coilte? It is a very good point from the OP - way too much jargon and reliance on model numbers and abbreviations that expect everyone else to also be in the know, so a simple name, model and what it is wouldn't harm the chance of a sale, and would improve the experience of users like anaxcrosswords. Conan
I too think the OP has a fair point I will certainly bear that in mind for future sales...
Lw.
I was going to say just click in to the ad & find out but then I realised that when I've gone to sell something in this section I've always included one of those option in the title anyway so you could have a point. I would say that the section doesn't need splitting out any more though (the forum is already too segregated IMO), just need people to be better with their titles. dmccombe7
not more headings. Keep it simple. Clear titles would save a lot of hassle. No point in making the site over complicated. Dave
Ziphoblat
I can't see that some simple [Amp] [Cab] [Combo] tags would make things that much messier.
JTUK
I wouldn't be buying anything that I didn't know what it was.............. and hadn't thoroughly researched

anaxcrosswords
Yes, adding tags would be great!
