spectoremg
I'll get in trouble if I use the proper link so if you're interested search on that auction site.
Bassassin
It's probably been "Halled" away by now... Jon.
Roger2611
It had reached a fair old price last time I looked at it
karlfer
RAN FULL TERM, £350 plus. Would have been much more fun if SGC Nanyo had called them Bass Collection Santa Anna
pete.young
Nothing to do with SGC Nanyo I'm afraid -these are a much more recent thing, probably made in Indonesia. I think these are one of the better copies, so I'm not surprised it fetched a decent amount.
Bassassin
Are these not The Bass Centre's own brand? J.
spacey
They are a Rocking better generic mould turnout, as copies go, a bit poor and only worth £350 because it looks like the real thing.
Bassassin
Agree - all the current crop of "Chickenbackers" are very generic, same builds, same hardware etc. Also available very cheaply indeed from popular Chinese retail sites, in a wide variety of fetching colours. Annoying Twit
Given all that, it is a very impressive finishing price.
spacey
They can not get the body thickness down or the headstock camber right, the two things that are hard to do on a budget copy as you need some good quality cured Ash not basswood. The Japanese era copies are far better at it. Edited April 3, 2015 by spacey
