Akai Headrush E2 discontinued?

Hi Chaps

I was looking at purchasing an Akai Headrush E2, but neither Amazon or Andertons etc are currently stocking it - has it been discontinued? If it has, does anyone know if it is being replaced with a newer version? It would be a real pity if it's no longer available. One or two pop up for sale second-hand occasionally, so maybe that would be the best means of getting one?

So I guess the question is, can I also get equivalent pedal(s) that will give me the Delay and Tape Echo modes (not so fussed about the Looping function TBH)?

I think they were discontinued many years ago.

And there are absolutely tons of such delay pedals about - check out the [url="http://www.tcelectronic.com/flashback-delay/"]TC Electronic Flashback[/url] for starters, or the various Strymon pedals.

I'm going to hold onto mine in the hope it'll become sought after .
It's an ok looper, but excellent echo/delay pedal

I'd wager that they are old stock, none of the big retailers have it for sale.
