squire5 Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I have FrankenJazz bass, sunburst, tort pickguard, rosewood fingerboard, the works.I really like this bass but I feel that the neck is not as good as it could be.I've seen a neck on the Bay,but heres the problem. It's maple, with maple fingerboard and dot inlays.Has anyone ever seen a Jazz with this combination.I'm trying to imagine what it might look like.Any sunburst Jazz with a maple fingerboard usually has block inlays, but I've never seen one with dots.Thoughts anybody? Is there anybody out there who's good at Photoshop who could provide a sort of preview?Cheers guys. Doctor J Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Check out some of the Jaco dvd on youtube, he's playing a maple neck (granted it's a P neck but you'll get the idea) with a sunburst body. Quote
