fretmeister
As the title says. I'm trying to put together a 'try' list. So far - the Zoot 2x15; the Markbass 2x15. Must be lightweight / neo I've never had 15s before - always used 10s or mainly 12s, but I feel the need for low dubby goodness!

joegarcia
Until you said lightweight I was gonna suggest the Mesa/Boogie one. It moves mountains. Pretty intrigued by the Zoot ones myself, let us know how it is if you get to try one.

It's 50kg's but thats about the same as the Berg. www.matamp.com give them a call Edited August 19, 2008 by tayste_2000

I got rid of my Marshall VBC412s because they weighed that! Nice specs though. I don't think I can cope with a 50kg cab again - so that is the Matamp gone as well. Shame that - their guitar gear is fab.
alexclaber
You could always use a badder 1x15". Alex

mr_russ
The markbass one sounds great, albeit lacking a touch in the upper midrange - for my tastes. definitely worth a try + it's a really good weight.
dub
Have you noticed that there is an Epifani 2x12 for sale on this site? One of these will produce as much bottom end as most 2x15s and weigh a lot less.

bassbluestew
Contact Phil Nixon at Bassgear.co.uk.......he had a Purple Chilli 2x15 very recently that I lifted with one hand ( and I'm crippled with arthritis ). It's being replaced with a new design, so I'm sure there is a great deal to be had. Well worth a call. High spec, much cheapness.
