TheGreek
Nice quilted maple facings... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Musicman-Custom-Bass-/121594301590?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c4f95cc96
throwoff
I am 99.9% sure that used to belong to Chris from the Bass Merchant in Colchester. He had the top put on by a luthier and it cost him a small fortune. The work is flawless.
karlfer
He has been trying to move that on for months. He's offered it to me twice as an exchange against £700/£800 basses. He has continually failed to point out that it is a Ray 34, although to A LOT of us it is obvious. Lovely as the work is, he is, IMO, going to be lucky to get £700 more a modified RAY 34, as google searches indicate most sell for a very creditable £400/£450. He annoyed me both times he offered it to me as he came across as a chancer and NEVER mentioned it wasn't a full blown USA Stingray.
tauzero
Another one that plays like butter. You get grease all over your hands? You can't tell it from Stork? You need to take statins afterwards? You can't play it if you're a vegan?
40hz
I remember this guy from before, I think it must of been from when he offered you trades Karlfer. As nice as the actual bass is (love the facings) It's not a Musicman and this guy makes no effort to point this out. And yeah, his valuation is somewhat optimistic. I would of said £400-£500 for it.
