Should do if it's a poly finish. It's not the paint layer that yellows, it's degradation of the poly layer over time. I think.

Got the same bass, unbeatable but the weight is killing me with my back, it's only 9.5 lbs but too much. It has the loudest pickup of any bass I've owned.
