Soul-Fi Steve Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 hi folks - I'm Steve, from Glasgow but soon to be relocating to Southampton. Been playing for over 28 years pop, rock, metal, jazz, soul, funk etc... Currently lead a 7 piece function band called Soul-Fi, hence the monicker. I'm a self confessed total gear head & have been lucky to have owned a number of great basses over the years. Current faves are my Sadowsky Metros (have 4 - four string & 3 five strings), Overwater Progress II 5 string & perception 5 string unlined fretless, Wal Mk II custom unlined fretless 5 string, Spector NS2 USA 5 string, '64 custom shop Fender Jazz (british racing green custom finish), 2012 & 1975 Precision basses. Been on SBL coming up for a year & a number of the good folks over there recommended basschat to me. Now I'm here amazed how much it looks like SBL! Not sure who's copied who... Love talking all things bass & have a few basses I'm looking to sell to help with the house purchase slush fund. More on that to come after I've had some fun exploring the forums...
