Clarky, how did it work with you being able to choose your specific bass? Was this an option you were offered after you added one to your basket or did you have some contact with the seller outside of the website/sales portal? (You'll appreciate you can see I'm now giving this some serious thought!....)

I emailed them before I purchased and asked to see what basses they had in stock, they sent me a stack of pics and I chose the one I liked the best and then went ahead with the purchase, it was really simple and they couldn't be more helpful! They seem to have more of the better grain pattern ones in Japan, Arai UK

Ha ha - I did the same thing! I found myself idly doing 'sums' on scrap paper at work to try and calculate when I might be able to pull the trigger....
