Looks like a Mexican Standard Precision to me, the 2008/9 onward version?

Double checked, that's just a mexi standard fender.

I hate to disagree but there is no way that can be a factory applied logo... surely!

That's what the current Mexican standard logo looks like, the machine heads are right and the serial number is on the back of the headstock as expected.

If you were going to fake a fender, you wouldn't do that model (no offence to mexi standard owners)

The listing may be dodgy but the bass in the pics is legitimate.

In that case I should never be let loose to buy a Fender!

That logo looked as fake as a fake thing and I'd have walked away from any 'Fender' that had a logo like that... you live and learn.

Looks legit to me also :)

Yep, I concede it must be legit but that logo looks poor and unlike the P bass logos that I expect... I'll look up a few more MIM logo in future. ;)

It was their attempt at de cluttering the headstock in about 2008/9, the mexi standard range used to have all the information on the front of the headstock with the big silver logo.

I quite liked these basses, the glossed fingerboard and nicer finishing really tidied them up - the £500+ price though was a bit much.

So if this stays at £200 or so, it's a bit of a bobby dazzler.

It's amazing how it looks so much more legit with clear, pics with good lighting.

His Peavey bass rig looks good value at £200-300! ;)
