Roger2611
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-PRECISION-BASS-Guitar-All-Set-Nice-Player-/291420633709?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43da05fa6d This one worries me a little, I read somewhere that a genuine Fender neck with truss rod adjustment at the headstock will always have some kind of inlay in the truss rod hole, it that is correct then this is not a genuine Fender neck! Any thoughts?
AndyTravis
Squier affinity every day of the week. Mexican (denoted by the 'serial number') factory doesn't do a bass with a rosewood board and that logo. The Headstock shape is the chubby squier affinity and not fender shape. You're right about there not being a 'plug' The neck plate is erroneous and a buy off eBay jobbie. And the tinfoil covered pickguard? So many wrongs, not worth a quid more than £100 Edited April 12, 2015 by AndyTravis
tauzero
Any thoughts?
Yes. As at least 75% of the topics started in the Ebay subforum are about dodgy Fenders, we could do with a pinned thread to stick them all in. spacey
Fender should get off their backsides and start enforcing trademarks. The brand is fast becoming a laughing stock of fakery and counterfeit copies.
