I'm sure there was a post about this already but I can't bloody find it-

I've just come back to markbass having bought an LMII - I had one of the old yellow models for a few years right after they were launched in the UK, back then the official case wasn't quite so prohibitively expensive as the new version.

I doubt people are paying £60-70 or whatever it costs now- so what are you all using to lug around your LM's?

Cheers!

The DGMS is meant to be perfect, plus a lot cooler looking than the Markbass ones.
I'm using a laptop bag snaffled from work just now, but I'll probably be getting one of these after pay day!

I use an LMII case. I like that I can use the amp in the bag, just unzip the flaps front & back & plug in.

I also have a spare LMII case that I might be interested in selling if anyone wants to make me an offer...

I use one of those green bags from Auto Glym.

They come filled with bottles of car polish etc as a little car cleaning kit. LM II fits perfectly and there are internal nets for leads plus an external pouch. Very snug fit, good protection and cheap - especially if you're buying the contents anyway.

Bit after the event here - but the foam lined photo cases that Maplins do are great for small stuff like mixers and LM heads. The foam cuts out for a really snug fit. Our band mixer's lived in one for a couple of years and it's been great.

I bought a cracking large Trabus Laptop bag in brand new condition for my LM2, for the princely sum of £3.00 at a local Car Boot Sale. It holds all my leads ,Tuner ,Wireless plus my music folder and tools etc.

Really pleased with it! A real bargin!

I carry my F1 in the front of my rucksack, as it has a pocket meant for a laptop, carries tonnes of leads etc too.

My vote goes to the aluminium cases from B&Q, Maplins etc etc. I use these for all my amps - Hartke, EBS & mark bass. Works out far cheaper & the leads go in the same box

None in stock :) I've got a spare uber padded beez laptop backpack that I'm using instead - I'm keeping all my leads in it aswell.

had a gig with the LMII last night - I'd forgotten how good these amps are regardless of the size and weight advantages.

If you don't have any joy, PM me. I've got one I don't use and it's as good as new.

I got a silvery shiny Gig Skinz bag and when I pulled it out of the car, I was asked if I'd stolen it from the Scissor Sisters! :)

Yes, it's shiny and very camp but I couldn't live with a camo (also very camp) one or a black one as they'd get left behind or lost under a dark stage!

I am out of stock of these LMII bags after a mad run of sales!

I will have lots in the next couple of weeks in the new and cool look :-)

My 1st one came with the Markbass bag, it was handy to ware on my chest when I had my bass on my back and my hands filled with GT6B in Gator and lead bags etc. but I took it out of the bag when using it so it kinda defeated the purpose.
Since I got my new one, I've just been using the original cardboard box with the polystyrene holders. Unbeatable protection but doesn't look all that cool. Might have a look at one of those B&Q jobs like.
