Owen Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 A drummer friend of mine said that I put the beat in a sexy place. Hmmmmm........ Quote
JamPlay Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 The role of bassist is hugely misunderstood, often overlooked, and generally speaking less recognized than that of many other more visable members of a band. However, when offered a compliment, consider it an offering of thanks, and a kind response is natural and considerate as would be in a natural exchange between two folks. When the opportunity has arisen the other way around, where I've been in the giving end of the compliment, I have usually offered these words, "thanks for the music, it's really special and has meant so much." BILL POSTERS Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I once had the drummer from one of the bands on the same bill shout out, mid set " I love your playin mate, your like Entwhistle - you just dont give a f***" I'm still not sure if it was a compliment or not. Quote
