hetzer Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Hi all, I have recently tried and really like this bass. They look like good value. Reminds me of the old Epiphone Casino Bass from the sixties. ie Tony Jackson! Am seriously tempted to get the Walnut model. Does anyone own and use one already? What do you think in the medium/long term? Any problems, pitfalls, issues at all? Ciao Hetz Edited April 12, 2015 by hetzer Quote
blue Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) I think I had that Eastwood in Walnut. No pitfalls and it is a good value. I eventually traded up to the Gibson ES-335. Blue Edited April 12, 2015 by blue Quote
Roger2611 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I have the Classic 4 in White, it is badly built, difficult to set up well and no doubt won't last too long....however, you can set them up, they sound really good for the money, they look fantastic and it is smile on your face bass playing, the controls are as sensible as the Gretsch's they seek to emulate....I really like mine and am more likely to gig it than my Warwick.....go for it, don't expect steller build quality and you won't go far wrong Quote
rogerstodge Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Our guitarist has one (6 string) he swears by it , he'll pick it up over his telecaster, he tunes it after almost every song, it cuts in and out feeds back a lot and in mine and singists opinion sounds pony. Oops this is a bass forum innit. Edited April 12, 2015 by rogerstodge Quote
hetzer Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Badly built? I'll check that out, thanks. I would have thought that for £450, it should be very decent. Ciao H Quote
