Combo Dust Covers

Been looking at a cover for my Markbass combo. The prices are a bit on the high side for my cheapskate pockets. Is it a worthwhile idea to buy a cover??

I am tight/skint too so made my own cab covers for my two cabs!
I used black ribbed plastic sheets from wickes and black duct tape. Whole lot cost me a tenner.
