Mudpup
I have an older PM4 custom and its really light. Love the gold one in the video - unusual colour.....

Rumple
I've always fancied a Sandberg even more so now!
Yeah me too, I've only ever tried a couple very briefly in shops. There is something reasuringly solid about them. Machines
I'm not a fan at all. Why the change ? Did Fender start getting funny about it ? For me, Sandbergs are about those 2 classic shapes with modern features (e.g. 5 string, active EQ etc).
I like the fact they have changed the design a bit personally. And theyre not exactly the same now anyway - my PM4 looks like a Precision but is in fact quite a bit smaller in the body.
My TM5 was 10lb before I put Hi[shot ultralites on it and lost 1/2 pound. I got am email from Gregor about the new ones - 4 strings are expected to be under 4kg from now on - that's about 8.8lb
sykilz
Really like the gold one, the changes, although subtle, for me really work and give a more "modern " look, to me, whatever that means..!!!!
felixxx
Is it just me or this new body shape looks a bit like Lakland 44-XX.
Byo
Is it just me or this new body shape looks a bit like Lakland 44-XX.
The Gold J looked like a Lakland DJ to me. The updates are cool, I like the deeper lower cutaway and the bridge placement as the neck pocket is deeper hence more neck and body contact. But I am not sold on the body re-design... I will miss the old California designs.
