thanku
Great bass, but normaly you've got CTS pot on the Fender JV. (on the A series) Have you got a pictures of the neck pocket ? It's A, B, or C ?
blyn
I also expected CTS pots! Tuner are the vintage reverse with low gearing, only found on top level instruments from that time. (Actually more correct than on USA reissues from the same period :-) Regarding the pots it could be because is it from the very first week, it is equiped with an other type. They are untouched solderings for sure, Regards Brian
Rick's Fine '52
Pots are correct for this era JV.
RocknRoll62
Hello Guys. Is there a reason why this bass doesn't display the squire series on the Headstock? Just a question i'm asking myself. Is there a simple explanation. This is a to die for Jazz!!!! Regards Dean
Rick's Fine '52
Domestic issue basses didn't have it, the export models for the first 8 weeks did have the small 'Squire Series' decal on the ball end of the headstock.

Rick's Fine '52
This is domestic issue. The export ones changed to the large Squire decal after the first couple of months.

blyn
I bought the bass in Japan ten year ago. That fits the conclusion about beeing a domestic ! Regards Brian
