Thank you. That is very light for a Jazz. I will need to think about this as I am supposed to be downsizing, not getting more.

You've got Fender JV series and Squier JV series until 1984 from 1982 :)

Not often you see a bass with the same date, so thought I'd share my neck date pic, from this guys twin, that was separated at birth, and exported... :)

Thanks for sharing the picture of the neck date.
The basses are for sure from the very first week of building Fender jazz basses in Japan.
And could be the very first jazz bases from out there :-)

Get this and go the UK JV convention on the 27 feb. with one of the very first JV's

All original Fender JV (no Squier logo) from the very first week of building in Japan....
And still for sale :-)
