In all honesty there is little difference in sound between them. I have giged this bass and it sounds amazing! Sunburst like the one in this video, great example of the sounds - http://youtu.be/jY-0pebONW0 You can't get these in the UK, ebay in the states sells them but then you have customs charges and the such. Hasn't seen much action, so it's in great condition. Comes with a padded UBass soft case. £250 cash in hand or £260 shipped in the UK. Based in Glasgow. [/quote] I had a lovely kala mahogany acoustic one to start with, they were great but the solid body had the volume and eq controls. I gig mine all the time, in acoustic sets the band does + full blown gigs with kit etc that maybe there isn't a lot of stage room. Great wee basses!
