JwK94 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Hi there, I'm currently in the middle of making a bitsa P bass and the only bit left to acquire is a scratchplate/pickguard. I think the body is from some sort of 2000s squier? It's got 14 holes, not 13 like I remember most having, which is making it really quite difficult to find a pickguard for. I've heard mighty mite do a 14 hole one but i've also read reviews of it being really hit and miss as to whether it fits. It wont let me upload the picture of the body for some reason but if you want to see it I can send the picture, and if anyone has come across this sort of problem before then let me know, I'd like to get it all put together for a gig in 3 weeks! Cheers, Jack Edited April 18, 2015 by JwK94 Quote

Grahambythesea Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 I to have a 14 hole Precision pickguard. I thought I found one on the bay but when it arrived the holes were completely off, neck slot was too small and generally a dreadful fit. The Custom made ones cost nearly as much as I paid for the bass which admittedly was in poor nick and quite cheap. Quote
