ebenezer
Just bought a trb 5ii (japan) and wondered if anything would be gained by having a better/different circuit installed...not interested in sweep mid anybody done any similar mods? ps...are pickups worth changing? 40hz
I had a Trb4II and I can't see why you'd want to change the electrics on this! The standard electrics set up is really high quality, a real studio bass IMO.
ebenezer
you maybe right as all the tones are usable

Rich
I agree with these two gents. Yamaha got the TRBs pretty much spot on.

Chris Horton
+1 to the above comments. I have owned sevral of the TRB basses and if you want to ugrade the TRB 5ii , get a TRB 5Pii , you cant go wrong. The bass you have is hard to beat at that price range
